Fr James Alberione's vision of the value and 
complementary role of women in pastoral ministry
gave birth to the Pastorelle Sisters in 1938.
Today the Sisters have communities in Italy, Brazil,
Philippines, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Argentina,
Bolivia, Chile, Peru', Mozambique, South Korea, Gabon, Uruguay, Albania, Saipan working along side priests and lay leaders isharing faith and building up the Christian community
In Australia the Sisters have communities
in Victoria  and South Australia.
